About Miss H. |
As a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, I grew up to love the game of basketball which led me to Indiana University where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. While at IU, I worked as a student manager for the IU Women’s Basketball team. After graduating from IU, I spent two seasons working as the Equipment Manager for the Indiana Fever in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) and was a part of the 2012 WNBA Championship team. This opportunity led me to become a Division I NCAA Women's College Basketball coach at the University at Albany, in Albany, New York.
After two seasons as the Director of Basketball Operations at UAlbany, while claiming the America East Conference title two years in a row, I moved to Montana and worked with children and adolescents planning recreational activities. This experience led me to pursue my master’s in Physical Education at Oregon State University. Go Beavs! I graduated from OSU in 2017 with an endorsement in Adapted Physical Education. I'm currently in my fourth year of teaching at Joseph Gale Elementary School and have the best job in the world! I love getting my students excited to move their bodies while implementing creative lessons and activities that promote physical literacy that encourage students to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. |
